Resins - PowerInject
Multifunctional 2-component PUR resin Art. No.: 000000
… is a highly adaptable, high-viscosity, slow-to-fast reacting 2-component polyurethane-based injection resin.
Further properties
Hermes PowerInject is available in three different speed grades: Hermes-PowerInject 3000/120/30, where 30 is the fastest variant.
It can be accelerated as desired with the HT-Turbo additive and can be processed into a very dense PUR body that foams slightly upon contact with water (solid texture), or it can cure into a permanently foaming, closed-cell foam body using the HT-Foam additive.
Due to its bilateral properties, it can provide the benefits of both a foam resin and a high-strength resin.
High viscosity
Available in both slow and fast-curing versions
Available in 10l or 20l canisters
Can be accelerated as desired with the HT-Turbo additive = solid PUR body
Cures with the HT-Foam additive into a permanently foaming, closed-cell foam body
Tested according to EN 1504-5
Ecotoxicological testing (elution behavior analysis) by MFPA Leipzig GmbH
CFC-free and halogen-free
Ecologically harmless
Zero shrinkage
Reaction time is accelerated by contact with water
Special features
- Due to its bilateral properties, it can offer the advantages of both a foam resin and a high-strength resin.
- Successfully sealing against flowing water and water infiltration from structural walls
- Available from the factory in three reaction speeds
Application
- Suitable for the permanent sealing of everything from small cavities to heavy infiltrations in structures such as manholes or walkable sewers.
- For the stabilization or restoration of the host pipe/soil system
- Suitable for projects where no further rehabilitation measures are planned (curtain injection)
- The resin is injected in large quantities from the canister behind the structure using an injection pump via a drive-in packer / steel packer with a non-return valve.
- With the help of the catalyst, the reaction time can be precisely adjusted to the local conditions, although contact with water will also accelerate the reaction process.
